A morning spent wrapping parcels and they are almost done.
This afternoon I had my English class as Parisot - the children loved making their advent calendars so it was worth all the preparation time. Its a lovely group of kids now, five of them and they have all settled really well into the routine of the lessons - and they really seem to be gaining in confidence with speaking.
Afterwards it was time to get the tree and decorations up. Its definitely not traditional for us to have it up so early but needs must this year. The decorations themselves though don't change - every year the same ones come out of storage and putting them up always reminds me of the many happy family Christmases gone by.
No arty branches or white tinsel here, we always have real tree - this year we have bought a rooted one again - the plan being to grow it on and use it again next year. Last year's died but its worth a try.
